Mas La Plana Red wine

Mas La Plana is a red wine with Penedès designation of origin and made with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (91%), 30Hls foudres (5%) and stainless steel tanks (4%). 61% new barrel.

Mas La Plana burst onto the international scene in 1979 by beating, with the first vintage of 1970, the great Cabernets of the world at the Gault & Millau Wine Olympics, held in Paris. Thus was born the legend of a wine that represented a paradigm shift at that time.

Cherry red color.

Scents that convey elegance. Mineral, spices and wild fruits.

Tasty and forceful on the palate, but with excellent balance.
