Leda Viñas Viejas Red wine
Leda Viñas Viejas is the wine with the Castilla y León designation of origin that embodies the principles of Bodegas Leda. It is a multi-terroir wine that comes from organic vineyards that are between 70 and 100 years old and are spread throughout the Douro Valley, with different microclimates and maturation dates.
Pickaxe colour with a tendency to bluish, very intense. Aroma of good intensity, with red fruit, some vegetable sensation and a slightly tertiary background. Medium body, with correct acidity, marked fruit accompanied by a sweet tannin. The nose is deep and complex, with hints of berries, mineral substances and balsamic notes on a wooden background. On the palate, a disciplined and strong wine is shown. It has a creamy touch with firm tannins and a good aftertaste. A wine full of nuances that we recommend decanting to achieve the full expression of its potential.
Paired with local meats such as Morucha de Salamanca beef, meat from Las Merindades, Aliste beef, Arévalo suckling pig and kid. Quality stewed or braised meats and sausages.
