The Forgotten Grenache of Aragon is born in a goblet vineyard planted in 1940, located on an east-facing slope on ferrous clay soil with pebbles in the Ribota valley, at an altitude of 850 m.
Manual harvest during the second week of October.
Winemaking: Fermentation at less than 25ºC in 15,000 kilo concrete tanks, maceration for 17 days.
Aged for 10 months in new French oak barrels.
Visual: Ripe cherry red, evolution rim.
Nose: Roasted aromas, cocoa and berries.
Mouth: Pleasant and ripe tannins, which denote the low yield of this old vineyard providing a full and tasty mouth.
Complex salads, sheep's cheese, white meats with sauce, roast lamb, sausages, risottos, roasts, rice dishes.
