La Casona de la Vid Merlot Red wine

La Casona de la Vine Merlot is a red wine that has been made entirely with the Merlot grape variety from vineyards in the town of Guma, in Burgos. It is pure softness and silkiness, in addition to a jewel of which only 1,261 bottles are made, as Lagar de Isilla focuses all its attention on this best French grape in Burgos.

Colour: Deep, clean and bright cherry red.

Nose: Black fruit aromas with balsamic sensations transmitted by herbaceous aromas. Touches of pastures and spices with notes of coffee and cocoa.

Mouth: On the palate it is soft and silky, with long and persistent notes of chocolate, coffee, ripe fruit and black licorice.
