Fagus Red wine
Prepared from a selection of garnachas of different payments, from the last three vintages. Vineyards of 40-50 years of age with a production less than one kilogram per vine. Harvest from the first week of October.
Traditional elaboration. Fermenting at 28º C with temperature control. A maceration is carried out with the skins for two weeks. After the alcoholic fermentation the development of the malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels is controlled.
Crianza: Once the malolactic fermentation has been carried out, it is proceeded to the racking and re-casing, in new French oak barrels in contact with its own lees. After this aging is made the selection of the best barrels, the coupage of them and proceeds to bottling.
Color: Intense cherry red with ruby tones, clean and bright. Aroma: Very intense, fine, elegant aroma, with a background of red fruits, plum, cherry. Mineral notes, spicy, coffee, toasted, vanilla, pastry, egg yolk, meringue, very well integrated into the wine. Mouth: Very powerful, fat and voluminous entry, with a very balanced and concentrated mouth pass, very alive, good acidity. End of mouth long, broad, silky, with a very round tannin and joint.
