El Recio Red wine

El Recio is a red wine with Toro designation of origin and made 100% with Tinta de Toro grapes. Aged for 14 months in second-use French and Eastern oak barrels.

Very ripe cherry colour with a violet rim. Clean, bright and glyceric. Abundant thin teardrop of uniform fall that stains the glass. With high intensity and aromatic concentration, toasted, spicy and smoky notes stand out on finer and more subtle nuances of balsamic, menthol and mineral. After a long time of oxygenation, a very ripe black fruit appears, hints of chocolate, cocoa and sweet spices. Powerful at first, it is an intense, fleshy red wine with great structure and a lot of body. During its journey you can perceive more fruit than on the nose, it is endowed with an unctuous texture that makes it very pleasant. Long and very persistent finish with a spicy, vegetable, animal and mineral aftertaste. Powerful. It will improve in the bottle.
