Dehesa del Carrizal Syrah Red wine
Dehesa del Carrizal Syrah is one of the first varietals of this variety in Spain. When making it, the aim is to maintain all the character of this grape to the maximum, carrying out a work of respect for the fruit, where fermentation, maceration and passage through barrel do not alter its personality.
It is harvested in mid-September, at night and in the cold. It ferments at a maximum of 24ºC, and macerates for two weeks. It soon goes into French oak barrels and some American oak barrels, where it remains for just under a year. Before being released to the market, it is rounded for about 18 months in the bottle.
It is a wine of an incredible cherry red color with clear purple edges, which last over time. Intense aroma on the nose, where ripe jam, notes of black olive and toasted notes are mixed. The palate is sweet and tasty, filling the entire mouth, but despite its intensity, it arrives polished at the end of the tasting.
To enjoy in the company of meat and game of feather and hair, especially with those of strong and grilled sauces.
