Solanera Viñas Viejas Red wine

Solanera Viñas Viejas comes from vineyards with an average age of 44 years for the Monastrell and Garnacha Tintorera varieties, and 19 years for the Cabernet Sauvignon variety. These vineyards are planted at an altitude of 750 metres, in a stony limestone soil with some parts of clay and sand.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 26-28ºC. Solanera undergoes a 10-month aging in oak, 80% French oak and 20% American.

Dark and deep bright red color. On the nose we find aromas of acacia flower, raspberry, blueberries and currants. On the palate it is a succulent and fleshy wine. Very delicate, sweet and pleasant tannins.

Baked white meats, grilled lamb, duck breast, pasta with meat.
