Bancales Olvidados Red wine
Bancales Olvidados is a wine with the Ribeira Sacra designation of origin and made with Mencía grapes. The recovery of two exceptional and unique vineyards: Miño and Sil; shale and shale. The expression of our most special Mencía after its time in barrels. It is the result of a human project to value the ancestral work of winegrowers who renounce ease and perpetuate work in adverse areas.
Destemmed and crushed grapes, fermentation for 10 days with gentle pump-overs, followed by a maceration of about 10 days.
Malolactic fermentation and ageing for 10 months in second and third use French oak barrels follows.
Medium violet color. Palate: Violet, pepper, blackberry. Intense aroma, with notes of violet, blackberry, smoke and pepper.
Red meat, broth, cephalopods.
