Alión Magnum Red wine

Alión Reserva was born next to the Douro, in the Vega Sicilia lineage, but with an independent and groundbreaking vocation. In fact, its philosophy and personality has been clearly defined since the very founding of the wineries.

From its very first steps, the aromas and flavours of a free, modern, attractive wine begin to be traced, with strength and exuberance, with the exclusive expression of the fine red variety, a concept radically different from that of the Vegasicilian tradition. The grape has the character of the Douro, the aging is carried out exclusively in new French wood and also resorts to more modern oenological practices, so the result is radically different.

In short, Alión is an excellent wine, adapted to the international taste of the end of the millennium, cut by the pattern of a quality that does not understand borders, but always marked by the character and personality of the region that sees it born.

Dark pillory red with violet reflections. High-layer, clean and shiny. Lightly tinted tear. Clean and very intense nose. Good balance between aromas of black and red fruit, ripe and pleasant toasted notes. Spicy nuances (vanilla, nutmeg, pepper), a good note of tobacco, soft memories of cocoa, a subtle mineral touch and light balsamic. Good route with a great fruit load, in balance with the wood, very subtle, and with spicy memories. Tasty, fleshy and expressive step.
