Vega Sicilia Valbuena 5º - Red wine

Vega Sicilia Valbuena has a shorter ageing than Vega Sicilia Único. It is a wine that comes from somewhat younger vines and, in its composition, it is mostly Tempranillo and a small part of Merlot. It has the garnet cherry colour with orange trim, the ethereal expression of its alcoholic strength and the accent of its excellent oxidative evolution, the fruit of a well-tanned oak, a characteristic feature of the firm's reds.

Cherry colour with maroon border. Aroma of ripe fruit, mineral, dry stone, creamy oak and sweet spices. On the palate it is tasty, elegant, spicy and with good acidity

Combines well with soups and vegetable preparations such as porrusalda, pisto with egg or green beans with foie gras, poultry such as pularda or capon, grilled meats, hare cibet, stews and meat stews, rice with vegetables, or with lobster, roasted lamb or in a kettle.
