Pepe Yllera Red wine
Pepe Yllera Roble is a wine made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, belonging to the D.O. Ribera del Duero whose vineyards are between 30 and 40 years old. It's a tribute to one of our founders, Pepe Yllera. Semi-Crianza (6 months in barrel). It came with personality and sophistication. It never disappoints. The broth remains for 6 months in American-French barrels (allier) and then in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months.
Elaboration: Manual harvest. Double selection of grapes in the vineyard and in the winery. De-stemmed. Alcoholic fermentation at 28º in concrete tanks. Malolactic fermentation. Clarification and racking. It is then transferred to barrels and bottles.
Red cherishes with cardinal notes. Powerful nose, with aromas of red and black fruits along with spicy notes (vanilla, licorice...) and balsamic (eucalyptus) contributed by a large wood.
Soft and velvety mouth, silky, wide, sweet and friendly, pleasant acidity that does not bother and makes it very fresh, with a long finish and a aftertaste of berries and vanilla
Perfect with any type of meat, especially Iberian sausages, white and red meats, roasts of lamb and suckling pig, small game (hare, partridge, etc...), legume stews and cured and semi-cured cheeses.
