Pago de Santa Cruz Red wine
Pago de Santa Cruz is a red wine that comes exclusively from a vineyard with vineyards over 60 years old located on the estate that bears the same name as the wine. Pago de Santa Cruz is a wine with Ribera de Duero designation of origin and made with Tempranillo grapes. Very long, complex, with ripe and soft tannins and a lot of life ahead of it.
Intense red cherry color with fine violet edges. High layer. Bright and clean. Intense and persistent aromas. Lots of ripe and liqueur red fruit interspersed with spicy notes (vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon). When it opens, the noble toasted notes come out and the cocoa and lactic products envelop it in a pleasant creaminess. Elegant bottom mineralization. Elegant, tasty and enveloping. The nose returns concentrated, expressive and in a very balanced way. Velvety, tasty mid-palate, with good acidity and ripe tannins that still need a little polishing. Very long and persistent finish with an elegant mineral aftertaste.
Braised lamb, Civet, Big game, Cured cheeses, Deer, Wild boar, Beef.
