La Malkerida Red wine
From the partnership between sommelier Bruno Murciano and winemaker David Sampedro (DSG Vineyards), La Malkerida was born, this young red wine made 100% with the Bobal variety. Its name alludes to the little attention paid to this native variety, which Bruno and David intend to rescue and dignify.
Intense cherry colour with a garnet rim and violet reflections. Clean and very bright. Intense nose with aromas of ripe black fruit, spicy notes, hints of black and white pepper, aromatic herbs, rosemary, subtle florals, lavender, smoky touches and fine balsamic aromas. Young, dynamic, fresh, fun. On the palate it follows the same scheme as on the nose, it is fresh, sweet, tasty and agile. It has good acidity and lively, fine, direct tannins. Long finish, with light vegetal notes, of correct persistence, which leaves fruity sensations in the retronasal. Excellent value for money.
