La Capilla Merlot Red wine

Vineyards of the Merlot variety, about 40 years old. Manual harvest and fermentation in small stainless steel tanks with short macerations and pumping. Subsequent aging in new French fine grain oak barrels for twelve months. • High-layered wine, deep dark cherry colour. On the nose it is very expressive, intense, with a wide base of red fruits, currants and plums, on which there are very fine notes of honey, toasted, spices and bitter chocolate. On the palate it is a good attack, tasty and full-bodied. Grilled meats, spiced stews, carrillera, cured cheeses.
