Garmón is the third project of the García family (Bodegas Mauro) in the Douro Valley. A sustainable Tempranillo from rain-fed vineyards of different ages and villages, at an altitude between 750 and 978 metres.
Aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
Suggestive nose with very fresh black fruit, penetrating spicy notes and earthy background.
Spirited and nervey, it has length and tension. Tight and juicy tannins.
Recommended with grilled meats, roasts, legumes, stews and cured cheeses.
