Manual harvest and transfer to winery in boxes. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in tanks. Aged in barrels of American oak new (60%) and French oak of two wines (40%) for 16 months, with three racking.
Cherry deep red, middle layer edge and high pink, clean and bright. On the nose, noted for high intensity aromas, notes of undergrowth, with a balsamic, anise, sweet licorice, cinnamon and Cedar which rounded off a fine bouquet, red blackberries, wild strawberries. In the mouth protrudes its velvety texture, good balance of acidity and elegant and pleasant tannins that give way to a cool aftertaste in which the nuances of ripe fruit and liquorice extolling the typical characteristics of this wine of the Rioja Alavesa.
