El Canto de la Alondra Red wine

Canto de la Alondra is a red wine with the Ribera del Duero designation of origin. Made with Tempranillo from the moorland of Olmos de Peñafiel, and vinified with care. The harvest is carried out manually and the grapes are selected on the vine and when they arrive at the winery. The production is traditional, a vertical press is used and no foreign yeasts are used. Periodic battonages are performed to extract maximum expression. And it is aged for 13 months in 9 French oak barrels and one American oak barrel. It is unfiltered and a plant-based clarifier is used, making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The lark's song is a surprising, complex, lively, elegant and subtle wine. Initially, its delicate fruity and floral character stands out, which gradually gives way to much more complex, honeyed aromas, of dried fruits in compote, noble toasted and mineral notes. When it finally reaches the mouth, it unfolds its true character, grows and spreads to occupy all its space. It is a broad, emphatic and at the same time sweet wine with a sweet and extra-fine tannin, which captivates the not very initiated and excites lovers of good wine
