Dominio de Tares Baltos Red wine
Dominio de Tares Baltos is a wine with Bierzo designation of origin and made with Mencía grapes.
Aged for 4-6 months in French oak barrels and 12 months on average in the bottle.
Beautiful cherry red color with purple reflections. Intense, clean and shiny, it has a fine teardrop of slow fall. Of medium intensity, it becomes more fragrant as it is oxygenated. A ripe red fruit stands out, accompanied by certain floral and lactic notes. In the background, some very suggestive toasted and spicy notes. Balsamic finish. It has a very wide and friendly entry, a palate full of fruit and spices. Good acidity and tannins that round off the wine. Good ending. A smooth and fresh wine with a retronasal
Cheeses and tapas, light meats, vegetables, rice, pasta.
89 points Parker.
