Bembibre Red wine
Bembibre receives its name from the capital of Bierzo Alto in homage to the place of origin of Dominio de Tares, where the Mencía variety reaches its best expression. Made from vineyards over 80 years old up to 700 metres above sea level, Bembibre is a monovarietal that has all the expressive strength and character of Mencía.
Bright red pillory with violet reflections. High layer. Dense tear that dyes the glass. Intense and fleshy aromas of red and black fruit (juicy black plum) interspersed with expressive toasts and minerals. Long evolution in the glass, with numerous spices, tobaccos, licorice, balsamic, aromatic florals and herbaceous touches. A powerful Bierzo wine, full-bodied and full-bodied. Long, wide and enveloping course, very well balanced. With the fleshy fruit and toast wrapped in spices and menthol. Silky, soft and fresh. Perfectly balanced acidity together with mature and very well integrated tannins. Long and persistent finish.
