Áster Red wine

Áster is an elegant red wine, a true reflection of the Ribera del Duero. Made with 100% Tinta del País grapes from the Fuentecojo, La Cueva and Otero Joven plots that surround the winery in Anguix (Burgos), located in silty loamy soils and with an altitude between 780 and 800 meters. The aging was carried out for 16 months in new French oak barrels (75%) and, the rest, in French oak of two wines.

High mid-layer cherry colour with a maroon edge, clean and bright.

On the nose, black fruits, currants, blackberry stand out, with a background of sweet spices, fine herbs and licorice.

On the palate appears the potency, the expression of the fruit with a gentle step, accompanied by notes with memories of spices.

Finish with balance and structure, with a pleasant acidity and mineral souvenirs typical of our terroir.

Grilled meats, big game, lamb and cured cheeses.
