Áster Red wine

Áster Crianza is an elegant red wine, a true reflection of the Ribera del Duero. Made with 100% Tinta del País grapes from the Fuentecojo, La Cueva and Otero Joven plots that surround the winery in Anguix (Burgos), located in loamy soils and at an altitude between 780 and 800 metres. The wine was aged for 16 months in new French oak barrels (75%) and the rest in French oak from two wines.

Cherry colour with a medium-high layer with a maroon edge, clean and shiny.

On the nose, black fruits, currants, blackberries stand out, with a background of sweet spices, fine herbs and liquorice.

On the palate there is power, the expression of the fruit with a smooth mid-palate, accompanied by notes with hints of spices.

Finish with balance and structure, with a pleasant acidity and mineral memories typical of our terroir.

Grilled meats, big game, suckling lamb and cured cheeses.
