Áster Finca el Otero is a red wine that represents the classicism of the Ribera del Duero. A unique plot. Made with 100% ink from Finca El Otero, a vineyard planted more than 70 years ago. Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. A powerful and elegant Ribera.
Intense cherry colour, with a high layer and a clean garnet rim.
On the nose it stands out for its complex intensity, with ripe fruits, blackberry and currant, spicy notes of tobacco leaf, white pepper, nutmeg and liquorice. Mineral hints give way to fine woods, cedar, mocha and coffee beans with a background of undergrowth.
On the palate it is ample, tasty and very gastronomic, where the entry is smooth and elegant with a meaty center and a pleasant and balanced aftertaste, where spicy and balsamic memories return.
It is a wine at an optimal time of consumption and, in addition, with a great capacity for storage and enjoyment over time.
It extols varied dishes such as roasted vegetables, red meats, roast lamb and suckling pig and cured cheeses typical of the area.
