Áster Finca el Otero Red wine

We harvest the Finca El Otero early, taking advantage of the usual temperatures in the area, make a natural pre-fermentation maceration to cold for 8 days. Past this time began spontaneously, alcoholic fermentation resulting in 15 days. The wine then proceeded to new French oak barrels in which, for three months, completed malolactic fermentation with a weekly produced Lees battonage. After this phase, performed a selection of the finest casks to start aging in new French oak for 16 months, with two racking by the traditional method.

Black Cherry color, intense, very high layer with Garnet edge, clean. The nose is pervasive, with aromas of fruit stewed black, memories of undergrowth, anisés and spicy, with notes of pastries, coffee, tofé, mocha and black licorice bean. In the mouth, which highlights its large structure, it is balanced in acidity and alcohol, with mature and elegant tannins that give us a passage of mouth powerful and friendly. Broad aftertaste, in which notes of black licorice, fruit compote and the tofé leave an unforgettable memory.
