Viña Tondonia Red wine
Viña Tondonia Gran Reserva is a Rioja made with Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Mazuelo and Graciano grapes. Harvest rated as EXCELLENT. Year of great precocity. In all the phenological states of the vineyard, and since March, almost a month in advance of the normal evolution of the vegetation in the vineyard has been appreciated. There is abundant flowering. We began harvesting the white varieties on Monday, October 2. The reds on Monday, October 9, with the sun rising non-stop for two weeks, which ripens the entire grape beautifully, reaching average graduations of 13º in almost all of La Rioja. There was a lot of grapes and in addition to a great quality. The wine shows a very favourable evolution and great storage capacity.
Aging in barrels: 10 years, with 2 racks per year, handmade. Clarified with fresh egg whites.
Aging in bottle: The rest, bottled unfiltered, in 75 cl bottles.
Color: Intense ruby with tile trim. Nose: Very thin, fresh, toasted nose with light aromas of vanilla. Persistent. Mouth: Very dry, soft, round and evolved.
Perfect accompaniment to all types of meat or poultry. Grilled fish without strong seasoning.
