Abadía Retuerta Selección Especial is a red wine produced from the selection of the best grapes from each of our vineyards, combining the richness of Tempranillo and the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon with the roundness of Merlot.

Abadía Retuerta Special Selection of 2001 was awarded at the International Wine Challenge in London as the best red wine in the world in 2005. It is a very balanced, harmonious wine, with great aromatic richness and incredible expressiveness.

Made from a selection of the best grapes from all the plots, the Special Selection has become the most representative wine of the Abbey and the one that has received the most and best awards. A wine full of youth, intense to the eye and on the nose, which we recommend decanting a few minutes before consumption in order to enjoy it to the fullest.
