American is the name that is designated those who had emigrated to America in search of fortune, and had returned to their villages more or less enriched natales. Agustí Vilaret, founder of Mont-Ferrant, was one of many young people from the town of Blanes which crossed the Atlantic and returned years later to house with that luck. Back to Blanes, Vilaret founded the winery and is dedicated to the elaboration of Cava. As a peculiarity, beet sugar, normally used for the expedition liqueur, is replaced by sugar cane, as it is usual in the great maisons of Champagne. The sugar is not refined, in addition, to give more authenticity to the product.

Color: straw yellow with greenish reflections, bright.

Aroma: aromatic, intense, frosty, bakery, hair of angel, fresh and with a souvenir Quince fruit.

Taste: in the mouth it is sapid, fresh, notes to yellow Apple and fennel. Good balance, good acidity, fine and long, well integrated carbonic. Fresh and youthful.

Ideal with inbound tapas menus. Harmonizes well with dishes more structured or prepared, rice and fish (turbot, Grouper, monkfish, sea bass) baked with vegetables and tomato.
