Valenciso Graciano Red wine
Valenciso Graciano is a red wine made in the DO. Rioja with 100% Graciano grapes. In Rioja, only 1,248 hectares of this variety are cultivated, which is not surprising given that it is of low productivity, sprouts late and has a longer cycle than tempranillo, which previously made it difficult for it to ripen properly. However, climate change has benefited the Gratian, as now in September and October there are warmer temperatures that favor its development.
This variety stands out for its freshness, acidity and intense aromas, bringing complexity and longevity to the wines. There are many wines that use it in a small % to enhance the structure and give it greater balance. Although still a minority variety, Graciano is appreciated for its ability to produce wines with great personality and expressiveness.
