Valduero Blanco de Albillo White wine
Valduero Blanco de Albillo is a pioneering wine since Valduero was the first winery to produce a white wine with this grape variety. This native variety was not accepted at the origin of the Ribera del Duero designation of origin, so its value was affected, and consequently many vines were uprooted.
In 1990, Valduero decided to recover this variety , making the first white wine from Albillo in the Ribera del Duero: García Viadero 1990.
Very light straw-coloured, due to its resistance to oxidative processes.
Fruit aroma with pineapple and grapefruit background, original and typical of the Albillo variety.
Balanced in the mouth, it compensates for corpulence with a slight acidity.
Ideal company of fish, grilled vegetables and Mediterranean salads.
