Gratallops Red wine

With 94 Parker Points, Gratallops is the Vi de Vila of Álvaro Palacios. A wonderful wine that shows the great potential and structure of Priorat wines. These are fresh, light wines, with a personality very determined by the terroir, resulting in mineral and powerful. This is the wine with which Álvaro Palacios seeks to express the uniqueness and diversity of the landscapes of the Gratallops area. It is born from a careful selection of grapes of the local varieties: Grenache and Carignan and, in this vintage, it also has a small contribution of White Grenache, Macabeo and Pedro Ximénez; of the games of Coll del Corral, Ermites, Torrent, Sorts-Les-Planes, Mas d'en Pallarès, Manyetes, Obagues and Socarrats. Each place by its name, as it was done in the past.

Aromatic and with a wet slate profile, nuts, herbs and acidic berries. Lively palate with great acidity, very fresh. Fine tannins and pleasant texture. There are nuances of sweet spices and ripe fruit at the end.
