Clos Martinet Red wine
Clos Martinet is the Priorat of the 80s. The wine of those who believed in the terroir and dedicated all their efforts to take care of the process, the form... It is the wine of the generation that precedes us.
Different varieties, of different orientations and locations. Go through cement deposits, damajuanas, French oak barrels, foudres and also clay jars to understand all their complexity.
A deep and warm, tasty and elegant wine. The most classic and recognisable Priorat.
Beautiful cherry color with purple reflections. Medium-high layer, shiny. It has a thin, tinted, slow-falling tear. Complex, concentrated and harmonious nose. Highlights include a powerful ripe red fruit, currants and blueberries that go hand in hand with pleasant toasts. Little by little, spicy aromas, balsamic notes, intense mineral aromas, earthy memories appear. Full of nuances, it is gaining in expressiveness. A delicious nose. It has a powerful entrance, a path marked by a high fruit load and pleasant roasts. It's tasty and fleshy. Good acidity and intense tannic sensation. Structured, very elegant. Very long and very persistent finish. It will improve, even more, with a long rest in the bottle.
Excellent with elbows, roasted red meats such as sirloin, entrecote, sausage, etc..., seasoned with light sauces, big game, deer.
